Palmistry, or hand reading, is an ancient art, the roots of which have been traced back several thousand years to India. Its believed to have been born from Hindu astrology and was first written about when it was mentioned in the Chinese book the I Ching. Palmistry quickly spread all over Asia and Europe, whereupon Aristotle took an interest in it and passed the knowledge on to Alexander the Great. He used it often to judge the character of his officers and closely read the lines of their palms.
The practice has since endured throughout the
ages, yet today most people view it as pseudo-science and are quick to dismiss
it as superstitious beliefs. Part of why people are so skeptical is that they
don’t truly understand it and only know what they see in the media where it has
been wrongly portrayed in the many books, films, and TV shows that touch on it.
If you’re further interested in the subject, this video does an excellent job
at describing what the lines and patterns on your hands signify.
However, the focus of this particular article is
on the bracelet lines, which are also called rascette lines. These are the
horizontal running lines located on the underside of our wrists, at the
junction which separates the arm from the hand.
According to Metaphysics Knowledge, the more
lines a person has, the longer they are expected to live. Also, the first line
is more important and telling than the rest. If it is clear, unbroken, and
deeply defined then the person can expect to enjoy good bodily health and
strength. If it is unclear, broken, and weakly defined then the person is
viewed as careless and weak. Most people have 2-3 lines, and a rare few have 4.
In terms of years, the first bracelet line signifies 23-28 years of life, the
second 46-56 years, the third 69-84 years, and the fourth represents more than
84 years of life.
Furthermore, health problems are often expressed
through each of the bracelet lines. The first one differs for men and women.
Women whose initial line is broken or curves up towards the base of their palm
may experience gynecological issues, such as problems conceiving or giving
birth. For men, if their first line is broken or curves up towards the base of
their palm it means they may also have reproductive issues, or urinary and prostate
difficulties as well. The second wrist line is used to evaluate a persons
expectations of wealth. If it’s clearly defined, straight, and unbroken they
can look forward to relative prosperity and happiness. The third line tells of
fame and power. If it’s straight and unbroken that individual is, or will
likely be, quite influential in their life. As to the fourth bracelet line,
this one usually runs parallel to the third line and is seen as complimentary
to it. Thus, if you are one of the rare few who have such a line, it
strengthens and fortifies the fame aspects associated with the third line.
It’s all very fascinating to think that there
are hints buried in the wrists and palms of your hand which can reveal hidden
truths and what your future holds. There’s a lot of great information and many
more details covered in the video, so check it out and then take a moment to
look down at your wrists. Closely examine them for how many bracelet lines you
have and see what they mean. Share this with friends and family, then try
reading their wrist lines. It’s really fun and you may just learn something
about them!
